Hi. I work on backend systems for a living and tinker with everything else in the evenings. This site is my notebook: when I finally figure something out, I write it down so the next attempt is shorter.

Things you will find here, roughly in order of how often I write about them:

• Small shell scripts and the reasons they exist
• Keeping a home network boring and reliable
• Film cameras that are older than I am
• Bread, occasionally, when it works

The site is a handful of static files served by nginx. There is no comment section; if something here is wrong, I would genuinely like to know, but I have not found a way to say that without inviting spam.
